Remembrance & Dedication

Growing up as siblings in Potomac, MT, Heather and I shared countless
adventures exploring the woods, swimming in the Blackfoot river, and
creating memories that would last a lifetime. But Heather wasn’t just my
sister – she was my closest friend, confidante, and inspiration.

Heather approached life with an infectious joy and unshakeable faith
that touched everyone around her. Her laugh could light up any room, and
her wit kept us all on our toes. An accomplished marathon runner, she
approached every challenge in life with the same determination and grace
she showed on the trails.

While she wore many hats – devoted wife, loving mother, dedicated
teacher to her four children, and adoring “Gammy” to her grandchildren –
Heather remained, at her core, authentically herself. Her deep faith
guided her path, but it was her genuine love for others that defined her
journey.

As her brother, I witnessed firsthand how she made everyone around her
better. She taught me about perseverance, about finding joy in life’s
simple moments, and about the boundless power of faith and family. Her
influence made me a better brother, husband, and father.

Though she left us too soon at 48, Heather’s spirit lives on in the
countless lives she touched. I miss our talks, her infectious laugh, and
her unwavering support. But mostly, I miss my sister – my friend who was
truly one of a kind.
